After a stint as medics in a war torn Peru, Doctors Herbert West and Dan Cain return stateside and start working at Miskatonic Hospital. But, old habits die hard, when West tries once again to use his “re-agent” serum to reanimate the dead. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Bride of Re-Animator”.

· Dan picks up Gloria to put her on the stretcher. His left arm is round her back while his right arm is under her knee. In the wider view, as he puts her down, he moves his left arm up while his hand cradles her head. It cuts to a close-up view of Gloria, over Dan’s left shoulder, and his right arm is now cradling her head. Also, in the close-up view, Dan backs away and Gloria’s arms are seen crossed over her hospital gown. It cuts to the wider view and she’s covered with a white blanket.

· Lieutenant Chapham visits Doctor Graves in the lab. There is a pad of paper on the desk with a pencil laying on top. It’s still there in the wider view when Lieutenant Chapham starts to take Doctor Hill’s newspaper wrapped head out of the bag. He puts the head on the desk, the overhead view shows the pencil has moved to the side of the pad of paper.

· Doctor Graves’ lab coat has “Graves Pathology” embroidered on the left side. He gives the “re-agent” to the bat and as he watches it reanimate, a close-up view shows a mirror image of Doctor Graves. The writing is backwards and on his right side.

· Doctor Graves hears a knock on the lab’s door. He puts the “re-agent” bottle in the metal tray on the side of the desk. When he tries to get Doctor Hill to speak, a view of the desk shows the bottle is still sitting there. It’s gone again when Doctor Graves hits the desk, telling him to talk.

“Bride of Re-Animator” (1990) stars Jeffrey Combs, Bruce Abbott, Claude Earl Jones, Fabiana Udenio, David Gale, Kathleen Kinmont and Mel Stewart. It runs 96 minutes and is rated R for violence and gore, sex and nudity, and frightening and intense scenes.
